- I have some problems with the newly released ESP VCOMM Driver
- for Win95. I have some client VxD driver which opens a VCOMM
- connection with the attached modem. I discovered some strange
- behaviour with the Hayes Port Driver:
-
- The Read-Callback is not called when the specified amount of bytes is
- in the read queue, but is called, when the input queue is almost
- full. (the standard serial vxd does look at that trigger)
- The modem (Hayes Optima 288b - internal, ESP Port integrated) does not
- hang up the line when I drop DTR (while &D3 is set) (my other two
- modems attached to a standard serial port will do)
- I can't access the modem via the standard Win95 serial port VxD,
- i.e. the modem does not behave like attached to a 16550 UART when not
- installing the ESD Driver.
- Some more.
-
- Any hints appreciated.
- Regards, Achim
